Skeletal system of the spine

Cervical (neck) and thoracic ( ribcage) spine is instrumental to upright posture. It provides support as well as protection and bones in this area  provide attachment points for various muscles.

Sphenoid bone anatomy

The sphenoid bone is a butterfly-shaped bone located at the base of the skull, behind the eyes. It is crucial for maintaining skull structure, protecting important brain regions and sensory organs, and allowing nerves and blood vessels to pass through. Its central location and complex shape make it a cornerstone of the skull.
